In a bowl, mash the avocado with lime juice, minced garlic, and salt to taste. Set aside.

Prepare the Guacamole

In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently and form into 4 equal patties.

Prepare the Patties

Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly brush with olive oil.

Preheat the Grill

Place the patties on the grill. Cook for about 5-6 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and top each with bleu cheese crumbles. Cook for another 4-5 minutes, or until desired doneness.

During the last minute of cooking, place the burger buns on the grill to toast lightly.

Layer each bun with lettuce, the cooked patty topped with bleu cheese, tomato slices, and red onion. Cover with the top half of the bun.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Gradually add the beer, whisking until smooth and free of lumps.

Prepare the batter

In a deep frying pan or fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Ensure there is enough oil to submerge the cod fillets.

Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels. Dip each fillet into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.

Carefully place the battered cod fillets into the hot oil. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Use a slotted spoon to remove the fillets and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Slice the steak or chicken into thin strips. Slice the onion, green bell pepper, and tomato.

In a bowl, toss the meat with fajita seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté until they are soft and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil and heat. Add the marinated meat and cook until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.

Lay a flour tortilla on a flat surface. Spread a generous amount of queso dip in the center. Layer with cooked meat, sautéed onions, bell peppers, fresh tomato, and lettuce. Fold in the sides and roll up tightly.

Spread guacamole on the bottom half of each hoagie roll. Place a grilled chicken breast on top, followed by two slices of bacon, a slice of tomato, and a slice of Monterey Jack cheese. Top with the other half of the roll.

Slice the onion thinly. In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the onions and a pinch of salt, cooking until they are caramelized, about 10-15 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.

Prepare the Onions

In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into a patty about 1/2 inch thick. In the same skillet, increase the heat to medium-high and add the beef patty. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip the patty.

Place 2 slices of American cheese on top of the patty and cover with a lid. Cook for another 4-5 minutes until the cheese is melted and the patty is cooked to your desired doneness.

While the patty is cooking, butter one side of each slice of marbled rye bread. Once the patty is ready, place it on one slice of bread, add the caramelized onions on top, and cover with another slice of bread.

Assemble the Patty Melt

In the skillet, add the remaining butter. Place the sandwich in the skillet, buttered side down. Grill for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip and grill the other side for another 3-4 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is gooey.

Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve hot.

Gather all the ingredients. If using corned beef, slice it into thin pieces. If using turkey, ensure it is sliced and ready to use.

On one slice of marbled rye, spread 1 tablespoon of thousand island dressing. Layer the corned beef or turkey on top, followed by the Swiss cheese and sauerkraut. Spread another tablespoon of thousand island dressing on the second slice of bread.

Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter. Place the sandwich in the skillet and grill for about 3-4 minutes until the bread is golden brown. Carefully flip and grill the other side for another 3-4 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.

Remove the sandwich from the skillet, slice it in half, and serve warm. Enjoy your Reuben!
