Burger Preparation Instructions
1. Prepare the Guacamole
In a bowl, mash the avocado with lime juice, minced garlic, and salt to taste. Set aside.
2. Make the Salsa
Dice the tomato and onion, then mix them in a bowl with chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt to taste. Set aside.
3. Form the Patties
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into two equal patties.
4. Cook the Patties
Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach the desired doneness.
5. Add Cheese
In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
7. Assemble the Burger
On the bottom half of the bun, place the cooked patty with melted cheese, top with guacamole, and sliced jalapenos. Cover with the top half of the bun.
8. Serve
Serve the burgers with salsa on the side.
