Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet or pizza peel. Spread tomato sauce evenly over the surface, then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Arrange pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, and sprinkle oregano on top.

Carefully transfer the pizza to the oven or pizza stone. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve hot. Repeat with the second portion of dough and remaining toppings.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Make a well in the center, and add the egg, white wine (or vinegar), and melted butter. Mix until the dough comes together.

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Wrap in plastic wrap and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.

After resting, roll out the dough to about 1/8 inch thickness. Cut into rounds or rectangles about 4 inches in size.

Wrap each cut dough piece around a cannoli form (or metal tube) and seal the edges with a bit of water.

In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of water to a rolling boil. Add a tablespoon of salt to the water.

Add 2 cups of pasta to the boiling water and cook according to the package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.

Once the pasta is cooked, reserve 1 cup of the pasta water and then drain the pasta in a colander.

In the same pot, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add 3 minced cloves of garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Add 1 cup of halved cherry tomatoes to the pot. Cook for about 5 minutes until the tomatoes start to soften.

Add the drained pasta to the pot with the tomatoes and garlic. Mix well, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time until the desired consistency is reached.

Stir in 1 cup of fresh basil leaves, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper. If using, add red pepper flakes and lemon zest.

Wash and chop the Romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Place in a large salad bowl.
