In a blender, add 2 cups of chocolate ice cream, 1 cup of milk, and 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup.

Combine Ingredients

Blend on medium speed until smooth and creamy, ensuring all ingredients are well combined. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more milk to reach your desired consistency.

Once the milkshake is blended, add in 1 cup of M&M's. Pulse the blender a few times to incorporate the candies without fully blending them.

Take your serving glasses and drizzle some chocolate syrup along the inside of each glass for decoration.

In a large brewing kettle, heat the 1000 ml of water to approximately 65°C (149°F). Add the 200 g of barley malt to the water, stirring continuously to ensure even mixing. Maintain this temperature for about 60 minutes to allow the starches in the barley to convert to sugars.

Mashing

After mashing, separate the liquid wort from the solid grain. This can be done by pouring the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or using a lautering tun. Collect the wort in a separate kettle.

Bring the collected wort to a boil. Once boiling, add the 15 g of hops. Boil for about 60 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent scorching.

After the boil, cool the wort quickly using a wort chiller or by placing the kettle in an ice bath until it reaches around 20°C (68°F).

Cooling

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermentation vessel. Sprinkle the 10 g of yeast over the surface of the wort and seal the vessel with an airlock. Allow the beer to ferment at a stable temperature between 18-22°C (64-72°F) for about 1-2 weeks.

Fermentation

Once fermentation is complete, siphon the beer into sanitized bottles, leaving a small amount of space at the top. Cap the bottles and allow them to carbonate at room temperature for an additional 1-2 weeks.

After carbonation, chill the beer in the refrigerator and enjoy your homemade Heineken!

In a small saucepan, combine equal parts sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has completely dissolved. Allow to cool before using.

Prepare Simple Syrup

Cut fresh lemons in half and use a citrus juicer to extract the juice. Measure out 1 oz of the freshly squeezed lemon juice.

In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of bourbon, 1 oz of freshly squeezed lemon juice, and 0.5 oz of simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well for about 15-20 seconds.

Mix the Drink

Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice cubes. Top with 4 oz of cold water or club soda to add fizziness.

Strain and Serve

Garnish the drink with a lemon wedge on the rim of the glass and add fresh mint leaves if desired.
