Preparation of Vegetables

1

Chop the Cabbage

Remove the outer leaves of the green cabbage and red cabbage. Cut them in half and remove the core. Finely slice or shred both types of cabbage into thin strips, and place them into a large mixing bowl.

2

Grate the Carrots

Peel the carrots and then grate them using a box grater or a food processor. Add the grated carrots to the bowl with the cabbage.

3

Slice the Green Onions

Trim the roots off the green onions and chop them finely, including a bit of the green tops. Add them to the bowl with the other vegetables.

Dressing Preparation

4

Mix the Dressing Ingredients

In a separate bowl, combine the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, black pepper, and celery seeds. Whisk together until smooth and well-blended.

Combine and Serve

5

Combine Vegetables with Dressing

Pour the dressing over the mixed vegetables in the large bowl. Toss everything together until the vegetables are evenly coated with the dressing.

6

Chill and Serve

Cover the coleslaw and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled as a side dish.
