Rinse the fresh grapes under cold running water to remove any dirt or pesticide residues. Ensure they are thoroughly cleaned.

If using, wash the mint leaves and pat them dry. Set aside. Measure out honey into a small bowl.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about ¾ inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

In a large pot, combine the water, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugars are completely dissolved.

Remove the pot from the heat. Stir in the vanilla extract, root beer extract, and optional flavorings (sassafras root and wintergreen) if using.

Start by juicing fresh oranges to obtain 1 cup of orange juice. You can use a manual juicer or an electric juicer for this step.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, salt, and instant yeast. Whisk together until well combined.

Combine Dry Ingredients

Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the warm water and olive oil. Stir with a wooden spoon until the mixture begins to form a shaggy dough.

Transfer the dough onto a floured surface. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, sprinkle a little more flour as needed.

Place the kneaded dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a damp cloth or plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.

Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air. Transfer it back to the floured surface and shape it into a loaf by rolling it tightly, pinching the seams to seal.

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub this spice mixture all over the beef chuck roast.

In a large oven-safe pot or Dutch oven, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, sear the beef on all sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove the beef and set aside.

In the same pot, add beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, bay leaves, dried thyme, and black pepper. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

Return the seared chuck roast back into the pot. Cover with a lid and place it in the preheated oven. Cook for 3-4 hours, or until the beef is fork-tender.

Once the beef is cooked, remove it from the pot and let it rest for 10 minutes. Shred the beef using two forks.

Collect all necessary materials including a gallon of filtered water and five empty 1-liter bottles.
