In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef with beer, salt, and black pepper. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

After marination, divide the beef mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties.

Heat a grill or pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness. Top with cheddar cheese during the last minute of cooking.

Beer (for marinade)

In a large bowl, combine the ground bison, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix until well combined.

Prepare the Bison Mixture

Add the beer to the mixture and gently mix. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Marinate with Beer

After marinating, remove the mixture from the refrigerator and form it into 4 equal-sized patties.

Form Patties

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

Toast the burger buns if desired. Place each patty on a bun and top with lettuce, sliced tomato, and pickles.

Prepare the Mixture

Shape the mixture into burger patties, about 1/2 inch thick.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and browned.

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty about 3/4 inch thick.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the bison patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C). If using cheese, add a slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to let it melt.

Toast the burger buns if desired. Place the cooked bison patty on the bottom half of each bun, top with lettuce and tomato, and cover with the top half of the bun.

Serve immediately with your favorite sides and enjoy your bison burgers!

Begin by sterilizing all brewing equipment, including fermenters, bottles, and utensils.

Preparation

In a large pot, heat 5 liters of water to 70°C (158°F). Add the pale malt and crystal malt, and maintain the temperature for 60 minutes.

Mashing

After mashing, bring the mixture to a boil. Add the Cascade hops and boil for 60 minutes.

Boiling

After boiling, cool the wort quickly to about 20°C (68°F) using a wort chiller or an ice bath.

Cooling

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermenter and pitch the ale yeast. Seal with an airlock and ferment for about 1-2 weeks.

Fermentation

Once fermentation is complete, dissolve the priming sugar in a small amount of water and add it to the beer. Transfer the beer into sanitized bottles and cap them.

Bottling

Allow the bottles to carbonate at room temperature for 1-2 weeks.
