In a bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty and cover to melt.

While the cheese is melting, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

Toast the Buns

On the bottom half of each bun, layer the lettuce, the beef patty with melted cheese, onion rings, jalapeno slices, pickles, and drizzle BBQ sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.

Assemble the Burger

Serve the BBQ Bowser Burger immediately while hot with your favorite sides.

Divide the ground beef into two equal portions and shape them into balls.
