In a large pitcher, combine the apple juice and sparkling water. Stir gently to mix without losing the fizz.

Mix the Base Ingredients

Add the lemon juice and honey or agave syrup to the apple juice and sparkling water mixture. Stir well until the honey or agave is fully dissolved.

Add Flavor Enhancers

Gently bruise the fresh mint leaves by pressing them with the back of a spoon. This will help release their flavor.

Prepare Mint Leaves

Add the bruised mint leaves to the pitcher and stir gently to infuse the drink with mint flavor.

Insert wooden skewers into each all-beef hot dog, pushing them in about halfway to create a handle.

In another bowl, whisk together the egg and milk. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

In a large bowl, combine the Gulf shrimp with salt and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly and set aside to marinate for 15 minutes.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until well combined.

Gradually add cold water to the dry ingredients, whisking continuously until a smooth batter forms. The batter should be thick enough to coat the shrimp.

In a deep frying pan or pot, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Dip each marinated shrimp into the batter, allowing any excess to drip off.

Carefully place the battered shrimp into the hot oil, frying in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried shrimp from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

In the same oil, fry the smiley fries according to package instructions until crispy and golden, about 3-5 minutes.

Arrange the fried Gulf shrimp and smiley fries on a serving platter.

Serve with lemon wedges and cocktail sauce on the side.

In a medium-sized pot, bring 4 cups of fresh water to a boil over high heat.

Boil the Water

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 Tazo tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for about 5 minutes or until desired strength is reached.

Carefully remove the tea bags from the pot, ensuring to squeeze out excess liquid into the pot.

Stir in 2 tablespoons of honey and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice into the hot tea. Mix until the honey is fully dissolved.

Add 10 fresh mint leaves to the tea for a refreshing flavor. You can also muddle the mint leaves slightly to release more oils.
