Method

Prep and Cook Chicken

  1. 1

    Grill Chicken

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and juices run clear. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Prepare Salad

  1. 2

    Chop Ingredients

While the chicken is grilling, chop the Granny Smith apple, tomato, and red onion into bite-sized pieces. Crumble the feta cheese and set aside.

  2. 3

    Mix Ingredients

In a large salad bowl, combine the chopped Granny Smith apple, tomato, red onion, feta cheese, Craisins, cashews, bacon pieces, and mixed salad greens. Toss everything gently to mix.

Prepare Dressing

  1. 4

    Make Szechwan Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, Szechwan peppercorns, honey, minced garlic, and red chili flakes. Adjust the seasoning to taste.

Prepare Breadsticks

  1. 5

    Bake Breadsticks

While the salad and dressing are being prepared, heat the breadsticks according to package instructions. Once heated, brush them with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder.

Assemble Dish

  1. 6

    Combine Everything

Slice the grilled chicken and place it on top of the mixed salad. Drizzle the Szechwan dressing over the salad and top with wonton strips. Serve with hot garlic breadsticks on the side.
