Ingredients for Chicken Fingers and Bowtie Pasta

Method

Instructions for Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare Chicken Fingers

    1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. Cut the chicken breasts into strips. 3. Set up a breading station: in one bowl, place the flour mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. In the second bowl, whisk the eggs. In the third bowl, place the panko breadcrumbs. 4. Dredge each chicken strip first in the flour, then dip into the egg, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs. 5. Place the breaded chicken fingers on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. 6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

  2. 2

    Cook Bowtie Pasta

    1. While the chicken is baking, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. 2. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 10-12 minutes. 3. Reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta. 4. Toss the pasta with olive oil and Parmesan cheese, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a light sauce.

  3. 3

    Serve

    1. Serve the chicken fingers alongside the bowtie pasta. Enjoy your delicious meal!
