Ribs and Marinade

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the baby back ribs. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Make the Dry Rub

In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.

  3. 3

    Apply the Rub

Generously rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.

  4. 4

    Bake the Ribs

Wrap the ribs in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours.

  5. 5

    Add BBQ Sauce

After baking, remove the ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap them. Brush BBQ sauce generously over the ribs.

  6. 6

    Broil the Ribs

Place the ribs under the broiler for about 5-10 minutes until the sauce is caramelized and bubbly. Keep a close eye to avoid burning.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven, let them rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
