Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Salmon
In a small bowl, combine ancho chili powder, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder to create a marinade. Rub the mixture over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are well coated. Allow the salmon to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- 2
Grill the Salmon
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the marinated salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, then carefully flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and has grill marks.
- 3
Add Lemon Juice
Remove the salmon from the grill and drizzle with fresh lemon juice before serving.
- 4
Serve
Serve the seared ancho-ribbed salmon alongside mashed potatoes and fire-roasted vegetables of your choice.
