Preparation
For the Frickles
1. Prepare the Dipping Station
Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with whisked eggs and milk, and one with a mixture of cornmeal, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
2. Bread the Pickles
Dip each dill pickle slice first in the flour, then in the egg mixture, and finally in the cornmeal mixture, ensuring they are well-coated.
3. Fry the Frickles
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded pickle slices in batches. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
4. Drain and Serve
Remove the frickles from the oil and let them drain on paper towels. Serve hot with the spicy ranch dipping sauce.
