Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Mix well until the sugar is dissolved.

Marinate the Chicken
Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours.

Make the Teriyaki Sauce
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth. Add the remaining marinade to the skillet with the chicken and bring to a simmer. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook until the sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.

Slice the chicken and drizzle the thickened teriyaki sauce over it. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
