Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Add the salmon fillets to the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Filet Mignon

Season the filet mignon steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides. Let them rest at room temperature for about 20 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cook the Salmon

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a hibachi grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the salmon from the marinade and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Squeeze lemon juice over the salmon before removing from heat.

  4. 4

    Cook the Filet Mignon

In the same grill or skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Cook the filet mignon for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer depending on your desired doneness. Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  5. 5

    Serve

Plate the hibachi salmon and filet mignon together. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
