Filling and Wrappers
Method
Preparation and Cooking
Prepare the Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, crab meat, Cajun seasoning, and chopped green onions. Mix until well combined and creamy.
Assemble the Rangoon
Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the crab mixture into the center of the wrapper. Dip your finger in water and moisten the edges of the wrapper. Fold the wrapper in half to form a triangle, pressing to seal. You can also fold the corners in to create a more traditional Rangoon shape.
Cook the Rangoon
If air frying, preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray the Rangoon with cooking spray and arrange them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. If baking, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and arrange the Rangoon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Lightly spray with cooking spray and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
Serve
Remove the Rangoon and let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce.
