Seafood and Breading

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Seafood

Rinse the fish, calamari, and shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate shallow bowls, place the flour, beaten eggs, and bread crumbs mixed with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

  3. 3

    Bread the Seafood

Coat each piece of seafood in flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Ensure they are well-covered.

  4. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.

  5. 5

    Fry the Seafood

Carefully add the breaded seafood to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the jalea hot with lemon wedges and your choice of dipping sauce.
