Method

Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Sandwich

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the Italian rolls in half and layer the pepperoni, capicola, and salami evenly on the bottom halves. Top with provolone cheese slices.

  2. 2

    Bake the Sandwich

Place the prepared sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Toppings

While the sandwiches are baking, chop the lettuce, tomato, onion, green pepper, and black olives. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, vinegar, and dried oregano to make a dressing.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Sandwich

Once the sandwiches are out of the oven, layer the chopped vegetables on top of the melted cheese. Drizzle the oil and vinegar dressing over the vegetables, then place the top halves of the rolls on.

  5. 5

    Serve

Cut the sandwiches in half and serve warm.
