Cooking Instructions
Cook the Spaghetti
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Garlic Sauce
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Cook the Shrimp
Add the tail-on shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque.
Combine Ingredients
Add the diced tomatoes and fresh basil to the skillet. Stir well and cook for another 2 minutes.
Layer the Dish
In a large serving dish, place the cooked spaghetti. Top with the shrimp mixture, then sprinkle the mozzarella and parmesan cheeses evenly over the top.
Melt the Cheese
Place the dish under a broiler for about 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve
Remove from the oven, garnish with additional fresh basil, and serve warm.
