Broth and Toppings
Method
Preparation
Prepare the Broth
In a large saucepan, combine chicken or pork broth, miso paste, soy sauce, chili paste, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and stir until the miso is fully dissolved. Let it simmer for about 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
Cook the Noodles
In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and cook the noodles according to package instructions or your homemade recipe. Drain and set aside.
Prepare Toppings
While the broth simmers and noodles cook, prepare your toppings: slice chashu pork belly, chop green onions, soft boil the eggs, and slice naruto fish cake.
Assemble the Ramen
In a serving bowl, place a portion of cooked noodles. Ladle hot spicy miso broth over the noodles. Arrange chashu pork, naruto slices, soft boiled egg, corn, and green onions on top. Sprinkle with shredded chili pepper to finish.
Serve
Serve hot and enjoy your spicy miso ramen!
