Cooking Miso Pork Belly

Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, combine miso paste, sugar, sake, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic. Mix well to create a marinade.

Marinate the Pork
Cut the pork belly into bite-sized pieces and add to the marinade. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.

Cook the Pork
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated pork belly and cook until it is browned and caramelized on the outside, about 10-12 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
