1. Prepare the Broth
In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a gentle simmer. Add the soy sauce and black garlic oil to the broth, stirring to combine.
2. Cook the Ramen Noodles
In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and add the ramen noodles. Cook according to package instructions, typically about 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside.
3. Prepare the Toppings
While the noodles are cooking, chop the scallions and prepare the soft-boiled eggs by boiling them for 6-7 minutes, then plunging them into ice water before peeling.
4. Assemble the Ramen Bowls
In serving bowls, place a portion of the cooked ramen noodles. Ladle the hot broth over the noodles. Top with menma, soft-boiled eggs, nori, scallions, and corn if using. Drizzle with chili oil to taste.
5. Serve
