Prepare the Dough
In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.

Melt the butter in a small saucepan and mix it with the dough until fully incorporated. Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip. Pipe donut shapes onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

Carefully drop the piped donuts into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
