Tea Preparation
Boil Water
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.
Add Tea Leaves
Once the water is boiling, add 2 tablespoons of jasmine green tea leaves to the water.
Steep Tea
Reduce heat to low and let the tea steep for 5 minutes. This allows the flavors to infuse into the water.
Strain Tea
After steeping, strain the tea leaves using a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher. Discard the tea leaves.
Sweetening
Add Sweeteners
While the tea is still warm, add 3 tablespoons of palm sugar and 1 tablespoon of honey to the strained tea. Stir well until fully dissolved.
Serving
Chill or Serve Warm
You can serve the tea warm or chill it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes for a refreshing iced version.
Garnish and Serve
Pour the tea into serving glasses. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a wedge of lime in each glass. Serve immediately.
