Tuna Sandwich

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and bell pepper, and sauté until soft, about 5 minutes.

Cook the Filling

Stir in the minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes until fragrant.

Add Garlic and Seasonings

Add the shredded chicken and chopped cilantro to the skillet. Mix well and cook for about 5 minutes, allowing flavors to meld. Remove from heat and let cool.

Combine Chicken

Roll out your empanada dough on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thickness. Cut into circles using a large cookie cutter or a glass.

Prepare Empanada Dough

Place a spoonful of the chicken filling in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over to form a half-moon shape and crimp the edges with a fork to seal.

Fill and Seal Empanadas

Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C). Fry the empanadas in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towels.

Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or salsa.

In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the egg yolk and cold water until the dough comes together. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Make the Dough

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, and green bell pepper, and sauté until softened. Add the ground beef, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the beef is browned. Remove from heat, stir in the hard-boiled eggs and olives. Let cool.

Prepare the Filling

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thickness. Cut out circles using a cookie cutter or a glass. Place a tablespoon of filling in the center of each circle. Fold the dough over to form a half-moon shape and crimp the edges to seal. Place on a baking sheet.

Brush the tops of the empanadas with beaten egg. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.

In a large bowl, combine the Lomo beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently and form into 4 equal patties.

Prepare the Lomo Patty

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach desired doneness.

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty and cover to melt.

Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

On the bottom half of each bun, place lettuce, a slice of tomato, the cheesy Lomo patty, and top with ketchup and mustard to taste. Cover with the top half of the bun.

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess fat.

Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. This will be the outside of the sandwich.

On the non-buttered side of one slice of bread, layer the cooked bacon, cheddar cheese slices, lettuce, and tomato. Season with salt and black pepper. Top with the other slice of bread, buttered side up.

In the skillet used for the bacon, place the sandwich and grill over medium heat until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. If necessary, cover the skillet to help melt the cheese.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips to make fries.
