1. Gather Ingredients

Ensure you have all the ingredients on hand before you begin: ripe but firm pears, Gorgonzola cheese, balsamic vinegar, sugar (for the balsamic glaze), walnuts, and optional mixed greens.

Wash the pears thoroughly under running water. Pat them dry with a clean towel.

Prepare the Pears

3. Cut the pears into quarters, remove the cores, and then slice them thinly lengthwise. Set aside.
