Kung Pao Tofu Recipe

Prepare the Tofu
Press the tofu to remove excess moisture. Cut it into bite-sized cubes.

Fry the Tofu
In a wok or large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook until golden brown and crispy on all sides. Remove and set aside.

Stir-Fry the Vegetables
In the same wok, add another tablespoon of oil. Add the broccoli florets and diced red bell pepper. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.

Add Peanuts and Sauce
Add the fried tofu back into the pan along with the peanuts. Pour in the sweet and spicy chili soy sauce (see recipe below) and stir well to combine.

Garnish and Serve
Remove from heat and garnish with fresh cilantro and chopped green onions. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
