Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Rice

In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 cup of Sun rice and a pinch of salt. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is cooked and water is absorbed.

2

Prepare the Shrimp

In a mixing bowl, toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning until well coated.

3

Cook the Shrimp

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are slightly charred.

4

Make the Drawn Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the stick of butter over low heat. Once melted, set aside.

5

Serve

Place a bed of cooked Sun rice on a plate, top with blackened shrimp, drizzle with drawn butter, and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
