Prepare the Sauce
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in the crushed San Marzano tomatoes, capers, and Gaeta olives. Season with salt and black pepper. Let simmer for about 10 minutes.

Cook the Swordfish
While the sauce is simmering, season the swordfish steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides. In a separate skillet, heat a little olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the swordfish steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they are cooked through and have a nice crust.

Combine and Serve
Once the swordfish is cooked, place the steaks on a serving plate and spoon the tomato, olive, and caper sauce over the top. Garnish with chopped fresh basil before serving.
