Preparation

Cooking Directions

1. Prepare the Shrimp

Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

2. Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat until it shimmers.

3. Sauté Garlic

Add the sliced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet, sautéing until the garlic is golden and fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

4. Cook the Shrimp

Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

5. Add Brandy

Carefully add the brandy to the skillet and let it simmer for another 2 minutes, allowing the alcohol to evaporate slightly.

6. Season and Serve

Remove from heat, season with salt and black pepper to taste, and stir in the fresh parsley. Serve immediately with crusty bread.
