Prepare the Brisket
Season the Brisket
In a small bowl, mix together smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the brisket.
Cook the Brisket
Place the brisket in a slow cooker and add beef broth. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours until tender. Shred the brisket with two forks and keep warm.
Prepare the Onion Rings
Slice the Onions
Peel and slice the onions into 1/2-inch rings.
Make the Batter
In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, milk, and egg until smooth.
Assemble the Sandwich
Build the Sandwich
Toast the brioche buns. Place a generous amount of shredded brisket on the bottom half of the bun, top with a slice of smoked provolone cheese, a few crispy onion rings, and drizzle with BBQ sauce. Cover with the top half of the bun.
Serve
Serve the Boots & Bones Banger with a side of French fries.
