Cook the Fettuccine
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the chicken and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Remove from heat, let rest for a few minutes, then slice into strips.

Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, then pour in the heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently.

Combine Ingredients
Slowly whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Add the cooked fettuccine to the sauce and toss to coat. Add the sliced chicken on top and mix gently.

Garnish and Serve
Season with additional salt and black pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
