Crust Preparation

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix Crust Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.

Form the Crust
Press the crumb mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan evenly. Bake for 8-10 minutes until set. Remove from oven and let cool.
Cheesecake Filling Preparation

Mix Cream Cheese
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth using an electric mixer.

Add Sugar and Sour Cream
Gradually add in granulated sugar and sour cream, mixing until combined.

Add Vanilla and Eggs
Add vanilla extract and then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Add Flour
Finally, add the all-purpose flour and mix until just combined.

Bake the Cheesecake
Pour the cheesecake filling into the cooled crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set and slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door ajar for 1 hour.

Chill the Cheesecake
Remove the cheesecake from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to fully set.

Cook the Compote
Cook over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally until the berries break down and the mixture thickens slightly.

Cool the Compote
Remove from heat and let the berry compote cool to room temperature.
