For the Chile Cheese Fries
Method
Preparation Instructions
- 1
Prepare the French Fries
Preheat your oven according to the package instructions for the frozen French fries. Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Bake until crispy and golden brown, usually around 20-25 minutes.
- 2
Add the Chile Sauce
Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven. Pour the red or green chile sauce evenly over the hot fries.
- 3
Melt the Cheese
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the chile-covered fries. Place the baking sheet back in the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 4
Garnish and Serve
Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped green onions if desired, and serve immediately while hot.
