1. Cook the Fettuccine
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Cook the Chicken
While the pasta is cooking, heat a skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. Remove from heat, let it rest for a few minutes, and then slice it.
3. Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
