Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Rice

In a pot, add 1 cup of water and bring to a boil. Add the white rice and a pinch of salt. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for about 18 minutes or until rice is tender. Fluff with a fork and set aside.

2

Cook the Beef Steak

Season the beef steaks with salt, black pepper, and minced garlic. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. Remove and let rest.

3

Fry the French Fries

In a separate pan, heat oil and fry the French fries until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.

4

Fry the Plantains

Peel and slice the sweet plantains diagonally. In the same oil used for fries, fry the plantain slices until golden and caramelized. Remove and drain on paper towels.

5

Fry the Eggs

In a clean skillet, heat the remaining olive oil and fry the eggs sunny-side up according to your preference.

6

Assemble the Dish

On a plate, serve a portion of white rice, top with the cooked beef steak, add the French fries and fried plantains on the side, and place the fried eggs on top.
