Ingredients: 500 g Chicken breasts; 2 medium Carrots; 2 medium Potatoes; 1 large Onion; 3 cloves Garlic cloves; 400 ml Tomato sauce; 250 ml Water; 1 tsp Cumin powder; 1 tsp Coriander powder; 1 tsp Turmeric powder; 1 tsp Black pepper; to taste Salt; to taste Chili powder; 1 bunch Fresh cilantro

In a pot, add the chicken breasts and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 20-25 minutes until fully cooked. Remove chicken, let cool, and shred.

Cook the Chicken

Peel and dice the carrots and potatoes into small cubes. Finely chop the onion and garlic.

Prepare Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until the onions are translucent.

Sauté the Onions and Garlic

Add the diced carrots and potatoes to the skillet. Stir and cook for about 5-7 minutes, until they start to soften.

Add the shredded chicken to the skillet. Mix well and let it simmer for another 10-15 minutes, until everything is heated through and the flavors meld together.

Combine Shredded Chicken

Serve the Chicken Akdah hot, garnished with fresh cilantro. Enjoy with rice or bread.
