Method

Instructions for Making Deviled Eggs

  1. 1

    Prepare the Eggs

Place the eggs in a large pot and cover them with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover the pot, remove from heat, and let sit for 12 minutes. After 12 minutes, transfer the eggs to an ice bath for 5 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Filling

Once the eggs are cooled, peel the shells and slice each egg in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl. Mash the yolks with a fork, then add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, pickled jalapenos, blue cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.

  3. 3

    Fill the Egg Whites

Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites. Top each filled egg with a generous dollop of candied bacon jam.

  4. 4

    Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle chopped chives on top for garnish. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
