Prepare Gochujang Orange Granita

Make the Granita Base
In a medium saucepan, combine fresh orange juice, gochujang, sugar, and water. Stir over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved completely. Remove from heat and let cool.

Freeze the Granita
Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and place it in the freezer. Every 30 minutes, use a fork to scrape the mixture until fluffy, about 2-3 hours.
Prepare Candied Garlic

Cook the Garlic
In a small saucepan, combine garlic cloves, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer until the garlic is tender and the syrup thickens, about 20-25 minutes.

Candy the Garlic
Remove garlic cloves and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Allow to cool and harden.
