Method
Preparation and Cooking
Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and peel the Russet potatoes. Cut them into thick fries, about 1/2 inch wide.
Soak the Potatoes
Place the cut fries in a bowl of cold water and let them soak for at least 30 minutes. This helps to remove excess starch.
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Season the Fries
Drain the fries and pat them dry with a kitchen towel. In a large bowl, toss the fries with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill, and paprika until evenly coated.
Bake the Fries
Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Garnish and Serve
Once baked, remove the fries from the oven, sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
