1. Prepare the Chicken

Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.

2. Cook the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

3. Sauté Aromatics

In the same skillet, add the diced shallots and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

4. Add Mushrooms

Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes, until they are browned and tender.

5. Deglaze with Marsala Wine

Pour in the Marsala wine, scraping the bottom of the skillet to release any brown bits. Let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes.

6. Add Chicken Broth

Stir in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a simmer.

7. Combine and Finish

Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Simmer for another 5 minutes until heated through. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
