Method
Making the Pizza
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.
- 2
Prepare the Dough
On a floured surface, stretch or roll out the pizza dough into a round shape, about 12 inches in diameter. Transfer to a pizza peel or baking sheet.
- 3
Add Sauce
Spread the San Marzano tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- 4
Add Cheese
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly on top of the sauce.
- 5
Add Pepperoni
Distribute the hand-cut pepperoni slices evenly over the cheese.
- 6
Season and Drizzle
Sprinkle fresh oregano leaves, salt, and black pepper over the top. Drizzle with olive oil.
- 7
Bake
Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated oven (or onto the pizza stone if using). Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
- 8
Cool and Serve
Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes before slicing. Serve hot.
