Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pasta

Cook the fresh pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Garlic

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until golden brown. Remove the garlic and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Shrimp

In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and increase the heat to medium-high. Add the shrimp, season with salt and black pepper, and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

  4. 4

    Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter and chopped jalapeño. Sauté for 1-2 minutes. Then, add the heavy cream and lemon juice. Stir to combine and simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.

  5. 5

    Combine Pasta and Shrimp

Add the cooked pasta and shrimp back into the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat the pasta and shrimp in the sauce.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Serve the pasta topped with diced tomatoes, fried garlic, a drizzle of chive oil, and a charred lemon half on the side.
