Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Sauce

In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

  2. 2

    Add Tomatoes and Wine

Stir in the crushed tomatoes and red wine. Bring to a simmer and let cook for about 10 minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly.

  3. 3

    Add Olives and Capers

Add the chopped olives and capers to the sauce. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Cook the Sea Bass

In another skillet, heat a little olive oil over medium heat. Season the sea bass fillets with salt and pepper, and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and flaky.

  5. 5

    Grill the Shrimp

In the same skillet used for the sea bass, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque.

  6. 6

    Serve

On a plate, spoon some of the puttanesca sauce, place a piece of sea bass on top, and arrange grilled shrimp beside it. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with toasted baguette slices.
