Cookie Preparation

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

Cream Butter and Sugars
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Add Eggs and Vanilla
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

Combine Mixtures
Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.

Add Chocolate Chips
Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

Scoop and Bake
Drop large spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
