Burger Patties

Toppings

Condiments (optional)

Method

Prepare the Burger Patties

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about ¾ inch thick.

Cook the Burger Patties

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Skillet

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip them.

  3. 5

    Add Cheese

After flipping, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the burger is cooked to your desired doneness.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 6

    Toast the Buns (optional)

If desired, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 7

    Layer the Toppings

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese, and then add slices of fresh tomato.

  3. 8

    Add Condiments

Top with ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise to taste, then place the top half of the bun on each burger.
