Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Dukkah

In a dry skillet, toast the raw cashews over medium heat until golden brown and fragrant, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Once cooled, roughly chop the cashews and mix them with ground sumac, salt, and pepper to create the cashew dukkah.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Strawberries

Wash and hull the fresh strawberries. Slice them in half and drizzle with honey, mixing gently to coat.

  3. 3

    Cook the Halloumi

Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cut the halloumi into slices about 1 cm thick and fry them for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

Serving

  1. 4

    Plate the Dish

On a serving plate, arrange the fried halloumi slices. Top with the honey-coated strawberries and sprinkle generously with the cashew dukkah. Serve warm.
