Wine Making Process

  1. 1

    Prepare the Grapes

Start by washing the Moscato grapes thoroughly to remove any dirt or pesticides. Then, crush the grapes in a large container to release the juice.

  2. 2

    Fermentation

Add the yeast to the crushed grapes and mix well. Cover the container with a clean cloth and let it sit in a dark, warm place for about 5-7 days. Stir daily.

  3. 3

    Straining

After fermentation, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to separate the liquid from the solids. Collect the liquid in a clean fermentation vessel.

  4. 4

    Add Sugar and Water

Dissolve the sugar in a gallon of water and add it to the strained grape juice. Mix well.

  5. 5

    Adjust Acidity

Add tartaric acid and sulfites to the mixture to balance acidity and preserve the wine.

  6. 6

    Secondary Fermentation

Transfer the mixture to a glass carboy or a fermentation vessel with an airlock. Let it ferment for 2-4 weeks until bubbling stops.

  7. 7

    Bottling

Once fermentation is complete, siphon the wine into clean bottles, leaving some space at the top. Seal the bottles with corks.

  8. 8

    Aging

Store the bottles in a cool, dark place for at least 3 months to allow the flavors to develop before enjoying.
