Method
Cooking Directions
- 1
Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption.
- 2
Make the Rub
In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.
- 3
Season the Ribs
Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, ensuring an even coating. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.
- 4
Slow Cook the Ribs
Place the ribs in a baking dish, cover tightly with foil, and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.
- 5
Prepare the BBQ Sauce
In a saucepan, combine BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and water. Heat over medium heat until warmed through.
- 6
- 7
Finish Under the Broiler
Place the ribs under the broiler for about 5-7 minutes, until the sauce is caramelized and bubbly. Keep a close eye to avoid burning.
- 8
Serve
Remove from the oven, let rest for 5 minutes, then cut and serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
